Dear Kevin,
Even though many years have passed, when I think of you I smile. I read of your Mom's passing, and wanted to say how sorry I am. I also noted you have been her caregiver. As a nurse, I know what that role involves and I suspect that meant so much to your Mom. I hope that comforts you a bit. You should be proud of yourself for being her "Caregiver".

Dear Kevin,

I was so sorry to read about your mom’s passing in today’s paper. She called me a few weeks ago, and I was absolutely thrilled to hear from her. We hadn’t spoken in quite some time and had a lot of catching up to do which we did and shared several laughs.

She truly was my salvation when we worked together at Local 524. I was just a kid at that time but never forgot her kindness, her sense of humor and how we shared our love for family and our pups. She told me how wonderful you have been during her illness and that she was truly blessed to have you caring for her. Please express my condolences to your Aunt Cathy and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Thinking of you,
Joanie McGuire

Kevin and Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I also loved Joanie so very much, I will forever have her in my heart and prayers. Now she is with her furry friends Nicky & Maggie. When i think of Joanie, I smile and laugh at all the good times and happy memories. She is the one of my best friends and always called me her "Daughter", she was like a "Mom" to me and I will always love her.
