Joan Ann Frable, 74, Moscow, died Monday Morning.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Dorothea Amey Capoccia.
She attended Dunmore Public Schools and dedicated her life to raising her children. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed simple things, sitting on her porch, watching the Golden Girls television show and taking her Friday trips to Burger King.
She will be especially missed by her faithful companion Daisy, her Beagle.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Amdysis Home Health and especially nurse Tammy Langan for all the compassionate care shown to Joan during the last few years.
Surviving are two daughters, Joanie Frable her caregiver with whom she resided and her finance’, Dan Canfield, Moscow, and Elizabeth Ephault and her husband, Mark, Springbrook.
A son, Louis D. Frable IV and wife, Theresa, Hollisterville.
Six grandchildren Jenna and Hailey Frable, both of Hollisterville, Ryan and Jason Ephault, both of Springbrook, Paul Houlihan, Thornhurst and Billy Houlihan, Gouldsboro. Three sisters, Dorothea Sanders, Moscow, Mary DeFelice and Lois Ann Santarsiero, both of Dunmore, two brothers, Michael and Frank Capoccia both of Dunmore and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Nancy Hicks and Ruth Edwards and her former husband, Louis D. “Butch” Frable III.
The funeral will be Thursday at 9:00 A.M. in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 East Drinker St, Dunmore, with services by Rev. Arthur Davis. Interment in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
