Ann worked with me right out of KHS and Catherine Gibbs. Ann was the only one who could understand the arrival of the computer and internet age.She saved the sanity of us older employees with patience and kindness - no sweat! She was always an Angel. She will be sorely missed by so many but especially George, her family and her Mom, Florence. Always in my thoughts "Mrs. Hughes"

We are so very sorry for you and all her family and for the suffering you all endured. May you all feel grateful that her pain is ended and she will be enjoying the rewards she earned here on earth. Her ship has passed beyond our horizon, but she is being welcomed on that other shore by her Dad and her grandparents and all of those near and dear who sailed ahead.
God Bless,
Carol & Bob

I've known Ann since kindergarten at Garfield school and St. Cecelia's, through grade school, and high school. Some of the most fun to tell stories though, of course originated at Band Camp, lol! I regret that I'd lost touch with her over the years, and heartbroken that her road was so short and difficult at the end. I can not recall a single memory without that beautiful smile on her face. From what I see, she's raised beautiful, strong, good hearted children, like herself. A mother can ask for nothing more than for you to use the trials you've endured in your past, to strengthen your heart and teach your own children likewise.
She will be sorely missed, and heaven has just received a new angel. She will always be by your side, just keep your eye out for her.
You will all be in my prayers.

Ann, I know I'll see you again some day.
Remember the message "Ann, keep kickin' ass!" And you would answer "You bet! All day, every way!" Keep kickin ass turned to into "KKA" you can stop now. Rest peacefully now in the arms of GOD. Worry not, your children will be helped. We love you forever and always.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. I attended high school with Ann and had lots of great and funny memories of our time in the marching band. Ann was a wonderful friend and even better mother and warrior. May God bless Ann and her beautiful family and grant you peace in knowing an extraordinary Angel will watch over all of you and be with you always.
