Anne E. Lancia, 80, of Dunmore, died Tuesday morning at Hospice Community Care, Dunmore, after a lengthy illness. She and her husband, Salvatore J. Lancia, would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on Nov. 22.

Born in Jessup, daughter of the late John and Mary Kolsovsky, she was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Dunmore. She was a graduate of Johnson School of Technology, Scranton.

She was an avid cook and baker and loved spending time with her family, especially during the holiday season. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Also surviving are sons, Sam R. and wife, Helen S. "Cookie," East Stroudsburg; and Gary and wife, Helen, Dunmore; grandchildren, David Sartor, Ashley Lancia, Ciarra Morano and Tiffany Lancia; a great-grandson, Hunter Lancia; a sister, Marty Palka, Binghamton, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters.

The funeral will be Friday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Chestnut Street, Dunmore. Interment, Italian-American Cemetery, Minooka section of Scranton.

Friends may call Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Red Cross of Lackawanna County, 545 Jefferson Ave., Scranton, PA 18510.
