In Remembrance of Jude Theodore Zayac

Jude Theodore Zayac, three months old, passed away in his mother’s arms at Moses Taylor Hospital on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. He is the beloved son of Gregory and Theodocia Lawless Zayac and will be deeply missed by his adoring big brother, Gregory Zayac, Jr.
“Sweet Baby Jude” gave us a lifetime of love during his short time on earth. Jude enjoyed his quiet naps on the dock at Lake Ariel and to the delight of his parents, got to dip his toes in the ocean and relax on the beach just two weeks before his passing. Watching his big brother, Gregory, play and be silly brought endless laughs and smiles to Jude’s sweet face.
Jude is being greeted in heaven by his paternal great-grandfathers, Ralph Miller and Theodore Zayac, Sr., his maternal great-grandfathers, William Sweeny and James Robert Lawless, his maternal great-grandmother, Mariclare O’Malley Lawless, and his maternal great-aunt, Nancy Lawless Grace.
Jude’s memory will be carried on by his big brother Gregory, maternal grandparents John and Florence Lawless, Dunmore, paternal grandparents Theodore and Kim Zayac, Dunmore, his aunts and uncles Kevin and Mariclare Lawless Hayes, Scranton, Jack Lawless, Matthew Lawless, both of Dunmore, Shamus and Cara Zayac McCormick, Scranton, Steve and Jessica Zayac, Throop, and Bryan Zayac, Dunmore, his great-grandmothers Theodocia Sweeny, Olyphant, Peggy Miller, Scranton, and Camilla Zayac, Dunmore, his cousins Kevin, Jr., Nora and Jack Hayes, Scranton, and Helen Zayac, Throop, and numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 A.M. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, 322 Chestnut St., Dunmore. The family will receive friends in the church from 8:00 A.M. until the time of mass. Interment in Dunmore Cemetery.
