Theresa A. Judge, 88, Dunmore, died at the Gardens of Green Ridge in Scranton where she has resided the last few years. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Judge who died March 17, 1993.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Rhodes Carroll. Theresa attended Scranton public schools, was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Dunmore as well as its Altar & Rosary Society and its MAC Club.

She was a generous and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother who treasured family trips to the Jersey Shore. It wasn’t until the age of 65 that she decided to learn how to drive and did so successfully.

Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff at The Gardens of Green Ridge as well as Personal Home Health and Hospice for the love and compassion shown to Theresa.

Surviving are children, Michael “Didge” and wife Lisa, and Robert and wife Sally, all of Dunmore, Mary Theresa Castanzo and husband Gerald and Martin and his fiancé Lori Colangelo, all of Scranton, grandchildren, Robert Judge and his wife Abbey, Olyphant, Brian Judge and his wife Megan, Dunmore, and Casey Bouselli and her husband David, Dunmore, Elise Castanzo, Philadelphia and Emily Castanzo, Dunmore, and Michael Judge and his fiancé Marissa Wheeler, Patrick and Robert Judge, all of Dunmore, great grandchildren, Shayn and Jack Judge, Olyphant, and Annie Judge, Dunmore, a sister in law, Mary Judge, Scranton and a cousin Mariam Walsh and her family, Taylor.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Dorothy Kelly, Ruth Cassidy, Grace Newhart, and Joseph Carroll.

The funeral will be Tuesday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc. 318 East Drinker in Dunmore with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Chestnut Street in Dunmore. Interment will take place in Cathedral Cemetery.

Friends may call Monday from 4pm-7pm.
